Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya during his stopover at Petit Goave Company Headquarters of the Sri Lankan Battalion (SRIBAT) in Haiti was impressed with the lush greenery in the complex where lime has been grown.
Minutes after his formal inspection tour in the complex, he had a stroll around and saw for himself how lime cultivation was thriving in Haiti soil without any fertilizer whatsoever being used. He also took time off to have a look at a water purification unit in the same vicinity during the tour.
