Major General W.P.A.D.W Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu, Commander, Security Forces - Wanni (SF-Wanni), visited the Battalion Training School, Alankulam on Wednesday (07 Feb).
The Commander, SF-Wanni, was warmly welcomed to the school premises by the Commandant of Battalion Training School Alankulam, and the Senior Instructor of the training school introduced the instructors to the visiting Senior Officer at the location.
Afterwards, he inspected the camp surrounding, the welfare of the instructors and students, and several key places at the school, discussing possibilities for further improvement of infrastructure facilities.
Later on, the Commander, SF-Wanni, and other participants took part in a comprehensive briefing on the role and tasks of the Battalion Training School, conducted by the Commandant. Subsequently, the Commander, SF-Wanni, addressed the instructors serving in the school.
General Officers Commanding of 54 Infantry Division and 56 Infantry Division, Senior Officers participated in the visit.
