Commander SF-MLT Visits 593 Brigade Hqrs & Battalions

The newly-appointed Commander Security Forces - Mullaittivu (SF-MLT) made a formal visit to Battalions under 593 Brigade of the 59 Division on Thursday (20).

During his visit, Major General W.B.D.P Fernando Commander SFHQ-MLT, received a Guard Turnout presented by 24 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment troops at the 593 Brigade Headquarters.

Security Forces Commander planted a tree sapling in the 593 Brigade Headquarters premises to mark his visit.

Subsequently, he visited the 19 Gemunu Watch (GW) camp. Commanding Officer 19 GW briefed him on the area before the Commander, Security Forces - MLT sat for lunch with all ranks at the same venue.

During the same day, the Commander Security Forces visited the 24 SLSR and 1 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (1 SLLI) troops under the 593 Brigade.
