Major General B.K.G.M.L. Rodrigo RSP psc IG, the Commander of Security Force-Central, visited the 12 Infantry Division on 6 and 7 August 2024.
Upon his arrival, he was warmly welcomed by the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 12 Infantry Division and then accorded a Guard Turnout by the 12 Battalion of Gajaba Regiment. The Commander then posed for a group photograph, planted a sandalwood sapling, and addressed the troops. This was followed by an all Ranks tea.
Additionally, the Commander met the Chief Incumbent of Wedasitikanda Temple and then visited 122, 121 Infantry Brigades and 20 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment.
