Major General Y.A.B.M Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, Commander Security Force - Central(SF -Central), conducted an official visit to the 11 Infantry Division on 14 October 2024.
Upon his arrival, the General Officer Commanding of the 11 Infantry Division, welcomed him at Division Headquarters entrance. Then, he was accorded a Guard Turnout by troops of 5 (V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry.
During the visit, the Commander, SF - Central posed for a group photograph then briefing and tree planting to commemorate the occasion and address the troops. The visit concluded with an All-Ranks tea. Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in the occasion.
Further, coinciding with the visit to the 11 Infantry Division, Commander Security Force - Central had meetings with the Chief Incumbents theros of Malwatta and Asgiri chapters, the Chief Custodian of the temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, and the Governor of Central Province.
