Commander Security Forces (West) Visits Army Base Hospital-Panagoda and 1 SLAOC

Major General A.H.L.G Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, Commander, Security Forces (West), visited Army Base Hospital, Panagoda, and the 1st Regiment of Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps (SLAOC) on 20 November 2024.

At each location, the Commander, Security Forces (West) was accorded with ceremonial drive-passes and warmly received by the respective Senior Officers. Then he posed for group photographs followed by detailed briefings on current operations, ongoing projects and operational commitments.

During the visit, he addressed the troops of 1 SLAOC, emphasizing the significance of maintaining the Army's dignity, self-discipline, and integrity, adapting to societal changes, and promoting unwavering dedication to their duties.

Later on, the visiting Commander signed the Visitors’ Books to commemorate the visit.

Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks were present throughout the visit.
