Commander Security Forces (West) Visits 611 Infantry Brigade

Major General A.H.L.G. Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, Commander of Security Forces (West), visited the 611 Infantry Brigade on 25 October 2024.

Upon his arrival, he was accorded a formal drive pass and then welcomed by, General Officer Commanding 57 Infantry Division and Commander of the 611 Infantry Brigade.

During the visit, the Commander of 611 Infantry Brigade provided a comprehensive briefing covering the Brigade's operational responsibilities, ongoing projects, and current status. Commander of Security Forces (West) then planted a sapling in the Brigade premises, symbolising commitment to growth and sustainability. He later addressed the troops and inspected the proposed site for the new Brigade Headquarters.

Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in the visit.
