Major General J.P.C Peiris RWP RSP ndc, Commander, Security Forces (Wanni), visited 11 Sri Lanka Artillery Regiment, 4th Battalion of Gajaba Regiment, 4th Battalion of Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, 10 (V) Gemunu Watch, and 5 (V) Mechanized Infantry Regiment, on 07 December 2024.
Upon his arrival, the Commander, Security Forces (Wanni) was accorded a drive pass and warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officers at each location. Following this, the Commanding Officers briefed him on the responsibilities, roles, tasks and current commitments of the respective Battalions. Then, the Commander, Security Forces (Wanni) addressed the Officers and Senior Non-Commissioned Officers at each location.
Finally, he penned complimentary remarks in the visitors' book, marking the conclusion of the day's proceedings. Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in the visit.
