Commander, Security Forces (East) Visits 23 Infantry Division

Major General K.V.N.P. Premaratne RSP USP psc, the newly appointed Commander, Security Forces - East, visited 23 Infantry Division at Punani on 27 December 2024.

Upon arrival, the visiting Senior Officer was accorded Guard Turnout by troops of the 9th Field Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery. He then posed for a group photograph and addressed the troops of the Division. He also interacted with them during an All-Ranks tea. Following this, a briefing on the Division's role and tasks was conducted by the General Officer Commanding, 23 Infantry Division.

By concluding the visit, he penned down complimentary remarks in the visitors' book. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the visit.
