Commander Security Forces (Central) Visits Logistics Units and Army Base Hospital – Diyatalawa

Major General Y.A.B.M Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, Commander Security Forces (Central), conducted an official visit to the Army Base Hospital, Diyatalawa, the 7th Regiment of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP), and the 8th Regiment of Sri Lanka Army Service Corps (SLASC) on 06 November 2024.

Upon arrival, he was accorded a Guard Turnout and then warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer of the Army Base Hospital, Diyatalawa. The visiting Senior Officer then planted a sapling, posed for a group photograph and toured the hospital premises providing essential guidance to ensure smooth hospital operations.

Following the hospital visit, he proceeded to 7 SLCMP and 8 SLASC. His visit included tree planting, group photographs and a detailed briefing on each unit’s duties and responsibilities. He addressed all ranks and penned his remarks in the visitors’ book.
