Major General D.K.S.K Dolage USP psc Commander Security Forces (Central) made an official visit to 12 Infantry Division on 27 December 2024.
Upon arrival, he was honoured in a Guard Turnout by the troops of the 12th Gajaba Regiment and then warmly welcomed by Brigadier M.W.A.R.C Weejesuriya RSP, USP, ndu Deputy General Officer Commanding of 12 Infantry Division.
After, Deputy General Officer Commanding provided a detailed briefing on the current security situation, the Division’s roles and tasks, as well as its ongoing duties. The Senior Officer later posed for a group photograph followed by troops address. The visit extended to Headquarters and 121 Infantry Brigade further. During the visit Senior Officer met Chief incumbent of Wadasiti Kanda Temple in Katharagama.
