Commander Security Forces - Central Makes Field Visits to 121 Brigade & Its Under Command Battalions

Major General Kumara Jayapathirana, the newly-appointed Commander Security Forces, Central formally visited the 121 Brigade and its under command formations respectively on Wednesday (4) after his recent assumption of office.

The visiting Commander Security Forces Central was warmly welcomed by Colonel Udaya Serasinghe, Commander of the 121 Brigade who briefed the Central Commander on the operational deployment of HQs in his area of responsibility.

Thereafter, he visited 23 Gajaba Regiment, 20 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment and18 Gamunu Watch battalions to be welcomed by respective Commanding Officers of the battalions. During the visits, the Commander Security Forces Central inspected accommodation and roadblock duties of the troops and also their health security. Finally, he left compliments in the visitors' books before he left those camps.

In addition, he visited Sithulpawwa Rajamaha Viharaya and met the chief incumbent. During the brief interaction, he shared a few thoughts with the chief incumbent.
