THE prestigious Grand Prix, recognition Award, won by Seva Vanitha Army Branch sponsored “Senehasa” fund raising project commercial during the annual “Chillies 2009” award ceremony was subsequently handed over to its inventor, “Triad” Company Ltd Thursday (7) afternoon.
The commercial that depicted two houses, amalgamated to each other has been creatively done on behalf of the Seva Vanitha Army Branch (SVAB), following a request made by Mrs. Anoma Fonseka.
Fund raising project was initiated by the SVAB President Mrs. Anoma Fonseka for construction of the “Senehasa” school for children with special needs in War Hero families. Its construction is to be completed shortly in the Manning town, Narahenpita.
Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Sarath Fonseka, on the invitation of Mrs. Anoma Fonseka, presented the Award to Ms. Varuni Amunugama and Mr. Dinesh Jayasinghe who represented the company on the occasion.
The annual “CHILLIES 2009” Award ceremony was held at the Colombo Exhibition and Conventional Centre Saturday (2) night.
