Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake, Commander of the Army paid a visit to Ven Meegahajandure Siriwimala Thero, Incumbent at Jaffna Sri Naga Viharaya on Thursday (29) at Sri Naga Viharaya premises in Jaffna in order to find out the well-being of the monk and the temple activities after the recent passing away of the former incumbent at the Jaffna Sri Naga Viharaya.
The Commander during the meeting inquired into the temple activities and the progress it has made after the demise of the former incumbent several months ago.
Major General Roshan Seneviratne, General Officer Commanding, 51 Division was also present at the occasion.
