Commander Makes a Surprise Visit to SLEME Workshop

Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake conducted an unannounced visit to the Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (SLEME), Base Workshop in Udawalawa on Thursday (30) and had a close look at the function of the Workshop.

Colonel P. Vithanage, Commandant, SLEME Workshop, Udawalawa welcomed the visiting Commander of the Army and presented him with a description of the modified version of Unibuffels which are ready to serve UN missions.

Subsequently, the Commander had a look at the manufacturing process of the Unibuffles inside the SLEME Workshop.

During his stay in the workshop, the Commander did not forget to share a few words with Army technicians and mechanics at work. He also gave a few inputs to the process of assembling those Unibuffels. bridge media | Nike Shoes
