Commander, a Keynote Contributor to PGIM Course Sessions


Sri Lanka's prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Management (PGIM) on Wednesday (18) evening honoured the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Daya Ratnayake by inviting him to be a keynote contributor to the ongoing 'International Business Structures and Practices for Business Leaders' Course under the theme 'Military Leadership and Lessons for the Corporate World'.

The short-term PGIM programme of Learning and Sharing Knowledge that enlightens business leaders, administrators, researchers, intellectuals, state officials and academics on various facets of international business structures and practices, covers a wide range of current topics, related to the booming business industry both here and abroad.

Lieutenant General Daya Ratnayake giving an introduction to the course attendess on how the Army command structure has been laid on par with all other armies in the world underlined the importance of grooming business leaders with potential skills that can be tapped for the benefit of corporate world as is done in the Army, for example, by offering the ladder of prospects in the career.

Lieutenant General Daya Ratnayake was received by Professor Mangala Fonseka on arrival at the PGIM.
