Commander of the Army on Thursday (18) took time off to inspect the Homagama ‘public fair’ project, now under construction by Engineer Service Regiment (ESR) troops in the Army.
On the sideline of his scheduled address to the troops of the Security Force Headquarters - West (SFHQ-West) at Panagoda SFHQ premises, the Commander made this surprise visit to the new project site, accompanied by several other ESR officers.
During his stay there, the commander gave instructions to expedite the work since the public need to be provided with this facility as early as possible.
