Commander Inspects Army Exhibits Ready for 'Deyata Kirula'

As final arrangements in connection with the forthcoming ‘Deyata Kirula – 2014’ mega development exhibition at Kuliyapitiya are drawing to a close, Lieutenant General Daya Ratnayake, Commander of the Army, together with a host of senior officers, inspected the Army exhibits on the site Wednesday (12) afternoon.
 
To ensure all exhibits are in place, giving a new outlook, different from previous ones, the Commander, visited all the stalls, being erected by different regiments, characterizing special features, applicable to each regiment.
 
Inquiring into various aspects and practicalities, associated with such displays, Lieutenant General Daya Ratnayake, spoke to those in charge of every segment of the whole of Army arrangements and received a feedback.
 
Senior officers, responsible for all specific sections explained the Commander how final touches would be prepared, attracting the best attention of the crowds to Army exhibits, like on previous exhibitions.
 
Towards the end of his inspection tour, the Commander instructed all officers to ensure that everything is brought to proper order before the grand opening since massive crowds are expected throughout the project.
 
Senior officers including Adjutant General, SFHQ-West Commander, Colonel Commandant of Engineer Services Regiment, Directors, General Officers Commanding and other senior officers were associated with the Commander's visit.
