Commander Extends Best Wishes on Retiring Senior Officer

On the eve of his retirement from the Army after a distinguished military career of more than three decades, Major General M. D Wijesundare, General Officer Commanding 66 Division received appreciation and best wishes for his future endeavours from none other than the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva this afternoon (22) at the Army HQ.

The Army Chief during the brief interaction with the retiring Senior Officer shared a couple of thoughts, pertaining to his eventful career, experiences and intended projects in the future. He also recalled a couple of interesting memories in the past and wished him good luck with his future endeavors.
