Soon after the flag blessing ceremony at Anuradhapura Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi ended Friday (02) morning, Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Crishanthe De Silva paid a visit to the Anuradhapura Abimansala 1, where a group of disable War Heroes remain housed for the rest of their lives.
The Commander sharing lunch with those inmates spent more than an hour with them inquiring into their well- being and other needs.
Towards the end of this cordial interaction, the Commander gave away gift parcels to them.
