Commander of the Army Visits 4 Regiment Sri Lanka Armoured Corps

Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, the Commander of the Army, visited the 4 Regiment Sri Lanka Armoured Corps (4 SLAC) on 07 June 2024.

Upon his arrival, the troops of 4 SLAC accorded a drive pass to the Army Chief. The Commanding Officer of 4 SLAC, together with Major General S.W.M Fernando WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc, the Commander of Security Forces – West, and the Colonel Commandant of SLAC, welcomed the Army Chief.

During the visit, the Army Commander engaged in cordial interactions with the Officers and Soldiers. He posed for a group photograph and planted a sapling in the camp premises to mark his visit. The event concluded exchanging mementoes with the Commander of the Army and General Officer Commanding, 22 Infantry Division, and the Commanding Officer of 4 SLAC. Finally, the Army Chief penned down some complimentary remarks in the visitors’ book.
