The Commander of the Army Logistic Command, Major General M.W.T.C. Mettananda USP ndc, recently visited the Regimental Center of the Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps (SLAGSC) on 28 February 2024. The purpose of the visit was to inquire about the troops' wellbeing, assess the functioning of the Regiment and address ongoing administrative matters related to SLAGSC.
In accordance with military traditions, SLAGSC troops presented a formal Guard Turnout salute to the visiting Senior Officer upon his arrival. Afterwards, the Center Commandant of SLAGSC conducted a comprehensive briefing on the functioning of SLAGSC. Furthermore, the Commander of the Army Logistic Command provided necessary directions to rectify the existing administrative issues of SLAGSC.
At the conclusion, the visiting Senior Officer penned a few words in the visitors’ book before departing from the camp premises.
Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks were present during the event.
