Commander of the Army Appreciates SLSC Artist's Creative Talents

An exceptionally skilled artist, Corporal B.A.N.U Bamunusinghe, presently serving in the School of Signals at Boowelikada, recently had the privilege of presenting a hand-drawn portrait of Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake, Commander of the Army after meeting the Commander himself at his office.

After her expertise was brought to the notice by Major General N.M Hettiarachchi, Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Signal Corps and Colonel Imal Assalaarachchi, Commandant at the School of Signals, the Army Chief facilitated the gesture of excellence at the Commander’s Office, Army Headquarters.

While appreciating her talents and artistic excellence, the Commander of the Army awarded a token to Corporal B.A.N.U Bamunusinghe during the same meeting.
