Appreciative of their years of service to the Army, Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake, Commander of the Army during 18-19 invited a group of 21 Regimental Sergeant Majors (RSMs), about to go on retirement to his office and lauded their exemplary services.
During those brief meetings on both days, the Commander inquired into their past experiences and how the future would hold for them upon retirement. After extending his warm wishes, the Commander presented certificates of appreciation to all 21 RSMs.
