Commander of the 571 Infantry Brigade Visited the 1 SLNG

Commander of 571 Infantry Brigade Colonel I.G.J.P Thilakarathna USP, has arrived the 1st Battalion Sri Lanka National Guard on 30 August 2024.

Upon arrival, Commander of 571 Infantry Brigade was warmly welcomed with a drive pass at the entrance. Afterwards, the Brigade Commander planted a sapling as per the customs and toured within the camp premises.

Afterwards the Brigade Commander addressed the troops of 1st Battalion Sri Lanka National Guard highlighting the importance of maintaining the discipline of the soldiers to achieve the success.

Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
