Commander 1 Corps Visits Under Command Brigades and Battalions

Major General P.G.P.S. Rathnayaka RWP RSP ndc, Commander of 1 Corps, visited Special Forces Brigade, 3 and 2 Commando Regiment, 581 Infantry Brigade and 5 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment from 9 to 11 September 2024.

At each headquarters, Commander 1 Corps was honoured in a Guard Turnout presented by the troops. Brigade and Battalion Commanders provided detailed briefings on the deployment, duties, and responsibilities of their units. Then, the Senior Officer planted a sapling, posed for group photograph, joined all Ranks tea and addressed the troops.
