Major General B.K.G.M.L Rodrigo RSP psc IG, the Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force visited 5 (V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI), 2 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, 4 (V) Sri Lanka Army Ordinance Corps and 1 Sri Lanka Rifle Corps on 09 November 2024.
Upon his arrival at each location, the visiting Senior Officer was accorded a drive pass and warmly welcomed by the respective Commanding Officers. During the visit, he planted a sapling at 5 (V) SLLI, posed for group photographs, inspected the camp premises and addressed the troops. He concluded the visit by writing complimentary notes in the Visitors’ Book.
