Commander Security Forces - Central Major General Vikum Liyanage, conducted visits to the 7 Sri Lanka Corps of Military (SLCMP) Police and 8 Sri Lanka Army Service Corps (SLASC) in Diyatalawa on Wednesday (21).
Commanding Officers of respective regiments paid their honours to the visiting commander Security Forces - Central at respective camps in Diyatalawa.
Meanwhile, the visiting Major General Vikum Liyanage attended a sapling planting, all rank tea and troop address.
During this Address the Commander SF - C stressed the importance of discipline at all levels and maintaince of proper coordination for communication and continuation of excellent dedicated services.
At the end of this visit the visiting Major General Vikum Liyanage signed the visitor’s book to mark his visit.
Few senior officers of the Security Forces - Central also accompanied him during the visit.
Meanwhile, Major General Vikum Liyanage visited 581 Brigade HQ at Kotagala, 19 SLNG HQ at Laxapana, Ihala Kothmale Power Station, Kotagala oil refinery, Wimalasurendra Power Station and Laxapana Power Station on Tuesday (22).
Commander, 112 Brigade and few senior officers of the Security Force Headquarters - Central also accompanied him during the visit.
