Colonel of the Regiment of GR Addresses the Commanding Officers

Major General W.H.K.S Peiris RWP RSP VSV USP ndu, the Chief of Staff (COS) of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel of the Regiment of the Gajaba Regiment (GR), addressed the Commanding Officers of the GR at Army Headquarters on 10 May 2024. This marked his inaugural address after assuming duties as the 13th Colonel of the Regiment of the GR.

In his address, COS outlined his vision and priorities for the Regiment, emphasizing the significance of upholding the proud traditions and values that prevailing the Gajaba Regiment. He reaffirmed his steadfast support for the Officers and Other Ranks in the Regiment, pledging to lead with integrity, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

Additionally, Major General W.H.K.S Peiris RWP RSP VSV USP ndu stressed the importance of maintaining discipline among soldiers, providing welfare facilities, and increasing troop participation in Battalion training to enhance the image of the Sri Lanka Army.

Brigadier H.T.W Vidyananda RWP RSP USP, the Director of Personal Administration and Senior Officers of the Gajaba Regiment participated in the event.
