The Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps and General Officer Commanding 12 Division, Major General Prathapa Tillekerathne visited the 7 (V) Regiment of Sri Lanka Armoured Corps camp on Friday (14).
He was honoured in a Guard Turnout, followed by tree planting, Officers’ group photograph, Commanding Officers' briefings, troop address, and the day's visit concluded with lunch at the Officers' Mess. The Commanding Officer and all Officers and ORs of the 7(V) Regiment adhered to all stipulated Covid – 19 safety regulations throughout the programme.
During his troop address, the Colonel Commandant emphasized on training, wellbeing and welfare of Officers and ORs. He also highlighted the necessity of improving the effectiveness of duties in the area of responsibility.
