Major General K.V.N.P Premaratne RSP USP psc, Commander, Security Forces (East) and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps (SLAWC), conducted an official visit to the Kaluaggala Detachment on 17 December 2024.
Major S.E Kapugamage, Officer in Charge of the Kaluaggala Detachment, welcomed the visiting Colonel Commandant and provided a briefing on the administrative functions of the detachment.
Additionally, he addressed the troops of the Special Operations Support Group (SOSG) and those deployed at the Panagoda Cantonment. During his address, he outlined his vision for the troops, provided necessary instructions related to training, discipline, and security concerns, and emphasized the importance of uplifting the detachment and maintaining high standards in all aspects.
