Colonel Commandant of CES Visits 4 ESR

Major General I.A.N.B. Perera RWP USP ndu psc, the Military Secretary of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Engineer Services (CES), visited the 4 Engineer Services Regiment (4 ESR) on 23 July 2024.

The Commanding Officer of 4 ESR, Lieutenant Colonel G.A. Bandula USP Lsc, warmly welcomed the visiting Colonel Commandant, followed by a Guard Turnout by the troops of 4 ESR.

The Commanding Officer briefed the Colonel Commandant of CES on the unit's tasks, responsibilities, and recent achievements, highlighting its vital role in supporting the military. Following this, the visiting Senior Officer planted a sapling and then conducted a camp visit. Afterwards, the Colonel Commandant posed for a group photograph with all Officers of the unit and then joined all Ranks for tea. This was followed by a troop address, where he commended the unit’s dedication and professionalism.

At the conclusion of the visit, the Senior Officer wrote some complimentary remarks in the visitors’ book. Senior Officers, officers, and other ranks participated in the event.
