The office of 'Healthy Army Healthy Nation' at the Colombo Army Hospital conducted an awareness programme on 'Early Detection and Prevention of Cancers' to educate troops of the Colombo Army Hospital and the Directorate of Management and Maintenance of Army Headquarters on 16 March 2024, at the Auditorium of the Colombo Army Hospital.
The awareness program was conducted by Major L.I. Maduluwage of the Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps, under the supervision of Brigadier G.M. Jayaweera, Consultant Histopathologist of the Colombo Army Hospital. Ten Officers and fifty Other Ranks participated in the programme.
