THE closing date of applications for Army vacancies in the medical profession has been extended until 30th April 2010 in view of the New Year holiday period.
Directorate of Personnel Administration in the Army via newspaper advertisements published on March 26th (The Island), March 27th (Daily Mirror), March 28th (Sunday Island), March 28th (Sunday Observer) and March 31st (Lankadeepa) called for applications from medical professionals for posts of Consultant Radiologist, Consultant Anesthetist, Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon, Consultant General Surgeon, Medical Officer, Medical Student, Consultant Restorative Dentistry and Dental Officer. The previous deadline for applications was 12th April. (See newspapers and www.army.lk)
Those wishing to apply for above categories can now send in applications until 30th April 2010 to Director Personnel Administration, Directorate of Personnel Administration, Army Headquarters, P O Bo 553, Colombo. (Ends)
