Clearing of Debris Continues: Medical Camp Held at Ranaviru Village

Directorate of Rehabilitation of the Army on Wednesday (8) on the directions of the Commander of the Army conducted an emergency medical clinic plus Prosthesis and Orthosis at the Salawa Ranaviru village with the intention of examining the residents, affected by the ammunition dump explosion at Salawa. 

The medical team, headed by a few specialists examined those disable residents during the clinic, held in the centre of the village. 

Meanwhile, hundreds of Army, Navy, Air Force and other volunteers for the second consecutive day carried out cleaning work in and around Salawa Army Camp premises with focus on the line of houses, situated on both sides of the main road. At the same time, other service personnel, led by Army engineers continued to conduct evaluation estimates, covering the entire area.
