More than 50 Kilinochchi civilians during an awareness programme on First Aid practices, organized by the troops of 5 Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) on the directions of Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Commander, Security Force Headquarters, Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN), received a comprehensive knowledge on practical aspects of giving First Aid during emergencies in their respective residential areas.
The programme, held at Kilinochchi Harmony Centre was supported by medical professionals of the Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps at the request of the SFHQ-KLN which has taken initiatives of this nature several more occasions.
In addition to record 50 civilians, a large group of officers and other rankers of 5 SLCMP underwent this awareness programme, attended by a professional team of medical experts.
