A civil employee of the Army, attached to the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) has won the island-wide first place in the recent ‘Limited Competitive Examination for Recruitment of Minor Employees of the Public Service to Grade III of Public Management Assistants Service’.
A father of two children, Mr. B.A.S.P Abeywardene of Anuradhapura who has sat the G.C.E A/L examination has joined the Directorate of Civil Administration in the Army as an employee to serve the SFHQ-KLN.
Beating 5710 candidates who sat the above said examination, Abeywardene has secured the first place in the island, scoring the highest number of marks in the examination, conducted by the State Administrative Service under the Ministry of Public Administration.
Mr Gamini Mahagamage, Director, Directorate of Civil Administration in the Army, extending his greetings on his success has sent a special message of best wishes to him.
