Civil Defence Force DG Pays Courtesy Call on Commander

Director General of the Civil Defence Force (CDF) Rear Admiral (Retd) Ananda Peiris paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Daya Ratnayake Friday (4) afternoon.

This was Rear Admiral Peiris’ first meeting with the Army Chief after the new Commander of the Army assumed office in August this year.

The cordial meeting focused on matters of mutual interest and deployment of CDF members in nation-building programmes across the country.
