Civil Affairs Officers Get Better Exposure During ‘Diners Club’

At the end of a special workshop (20 - 22 April), exceptionally meant for Civil Affairs Officers serving all Security Force Headquarters around the country, a special Diners Club session on a concept of the Commander of the Army to match with his ‘Way Forward Strategy 2020 - 2025’ got underway at the Army Headquarters through coordination of the Directorate of Psychological Operations on Thursday (22) evening.

The Senior Deputy Solicitor General, Mr Nerin Pulle, an attorney at Attorney General's Department during the Dinners Club session spoke on the theme ‘Powers and Limitations of Military Forces with Special Reference to Section 12 of the Public Security Ordinance (Chapter 40)’.

The interactive session followed a question and answer session where the attendees were able to get clarifications on issues of concern to them while engaged in civil relations and community-oriented projects.

Brigadier G.W.A.A Seneviratne, Director, Directorate of Psychological Operations and a few other Directors at the Army Headquarters were also associated with the event, together with workshop participants and Officers.
