Famous CIC Company, producers of popular ‘Dulux’ emulson paints on Wednesday (3) donated a consignment of their products for the use of Kamburupitiya, Wilpitawatta ‘Abimansala 2’ Wellness Resort under construction to the Secretary of Defence and Urban Development Mr Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
The stock, worth over Rs 1 million was symbolically handed over by Mr Chanaka, an Executive Officer of the CIC company during a brief meeting at Mr Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s office at Ministry of Defence complex. Together with the architect of the project Mr Rajapaksa, was Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya, Commander of the Army to accept the donation on behalf of the ‘Brave Hearts’ project.
Both Mr Rajapaksa and Lieutenant General Jayasuriya thanked the donors for their thoughtfulness and appreciation of the Wellness Resort for the benefit of dependent War Heroes of the Army.
