Chullipuram Family to Get New House from SFHQ-Jaffna

Major General Priyantha Perera, Commander Security Force - Jaffna on Wednesday (7) laid the cornerstone for construction of one more new house for a poor family in Chullipuram, Jaffna after learning about the pathetic plight of the family of Mr. Kadeeran Govindasami.

During a brief ceremony organized by 513 Brigade troops he laid the cornerstone amidst religious rites and rituals.

Mr. Thabodaran Vishwanadan who lives in Britain sponsored the construction of the new house at the request of the SFHQ-Jaffna.

Troops of the 16 Gemunu Watch provided technical expertise and skilled manpower for the construction work under the supervision of the Commander 513 Brigade.

After the foundation laying ceremony, the Commander Security Forces Jaffna handed out dry ration packs among under privileged families in the area.
