China Defence Attaché Pays Courtesy Call on Chief of Staff

The Defence Attaché (DA) of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Sri Lanka, Senior Colonel Zhou Bo, along with Deputy DA, Colonel Gao Bin, paid a courtesy call on Major General W.P.A.D.W. Nanayakkara, RSP VSV USP ndu, Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army, at Army Headquarters on 01 November 2024.

During the discussions, the Chief of Staff shared insightful perspectives with the visiting delegation, highlighting the importance of the longstanding bonds of goodwill, cooperation, and mutual understanding between the armed forces of both nations. He acknowledged that these deep-rooted connections have fostered a foundation of trust and respect, paving the way for effective collaboration in various defence related initiatives.

Towards the end of the cordial meeting, Chief of Staff symbolized the goodwill of the Sri Lanka Army by presenting a memento to the visiting DA. The gesture was reciprocated.
