A group of children of the Kannan Orphanage in Kopay, Jaffna visited their sister orphanage, the Kannan Fellowship Orphanage at Mulankavil, Kilinochchi on Friday (3).
A total of 40 children and staff of the Kannan Orphanage joined the visit.
651 Brigade of the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) provided lunch to the visiting group.
A distribution of text books to the visiting children was also held on the same occasion. The donation was sponsored by Miss Evanjaline Lappern, an employee of the Sri Lankan Airlines.
Colonel A.P.I. Fernando, Commander, 651 Brigade, Civil Affairs Officer, 651 Brigade and other ranks attended the event.
