Major General Prasad Samarasinghe, Chief of Staff and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC) paid a formal visit to the 2(V) SLSC in Welikanda on Sunday (26) and shared a couple of views with them.
2(V) SLSC troops presented a Guard of Honour to the visiting Colonel Commandant after he was received by Lieutenant Colonel D.N.I. Amarasinghe, Commanding Officer, 2(V) SLSC.
After planting a tree sapling, Major General Samarasinghe addressed the officers and other ranks before he was presented a memento by the Commanding Officer to remember his visit.
Signing of the visitors’ book by the Chief of Staff culminated the day’s proceedings.
