The Chief Of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army, Major Genera Priyantha Perera on Thursday (28) in order to evaluate the progress of ongoing construction work of the new 15-storied building in the premises and other general administrative matters made a visit to the Colombo Army Hospital.
During the visit, the Chief Of Staff evaluated the progress of affairs at the Army Hospital and its ongoing construction project of the new storied building which was initiated according to a concept of the Commander of the Army.
He also inquired into matters, related to administration and maintenance of the Hospital during his stay there.
Master General Ordnance, Major General Hirosh Wanigasekara, Director Ordnance Service, Major General Priyantha Weerasinghe, Director Engineer Services, Brigadier Shantha Kumara, Director General Army Health Services, Brigadier Crishantha Fernando, Director of Army Medical Service, Brigadier Nishantha Pathirana, Director Management & Maintenance Brigadier Jude Perera, Director Army Hospital, Brigadier Champaka Attanayake and a few others were associated with the day's visit.
The inspection tour was organized strictly adhering to all precautionary measures against COVID - 19 pandemic.
