Chief of Staff Conducts Admin Inspection in SLE

Major General Sathyapriya Liyanage, Chief of Staff of the Army called at the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers’ (SLE) Headquarters at Panagoda on 24 January for an administrative inspection and resolution of any pending issues in respective battalions of the Corps.

A drive-past Guard Turnout at the main gate greeted him and the Commandant Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force and Colonel Commandant of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Major General Jagath Gunawardena warmly welcomed him at the Headquarters entrance.

The routine administrative inspection took place at the Convention Centre conference hall. Officers from each unit raised their administrative matters during the discussions and resolution of issues. The visiting Chief of Staff also highlighted the importance of resolution of those issues in a brief address to the occasion.
