Chief Field Engineer Visits MNDF Headquarters in Male

Major General P.P.A Perera Hdmc psc, Chief Field Engineer of the Sri Lanka Army, paid a courtesy visit to Major General Ibrahim Hilmy, Chief of Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF), at MNDF Headquarters in Male on 23 June 2024. This visit coincided with the completion of Explosive Ordnance Disposal Training (EOD).

During their meeting, Major General Ibrahim Hilmy noted the role of training and exchange programs in Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) in enhancing operational readiness.

Major General P.P.A Perera Hdmc psc addressed Sri Lanka's contributions to advancing MNDF's EOD capabilities, highlighting the training provided by Sri Lankan Engineers.

The visit concluded with the exchange of symbolic gifts.
