Major General Nihal Amarasekara, Chief Field Engineer and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Engineers made his maiden visit to the field Engineer Brigade located in Boo oya -Vavuniya on 14 February.
The Colonel Commandant was welcomed by the Field Engineers Brigade Commander at the venue and subsequently invited to join to offer flowers to the shrine and the Bodhiya, decorated with a newly-constructed protective wall.
Afterwards he opened the renovated mine action office and the new rugby statdium, constructed by sappers. Finally, he addressed the troops and elaborated how the future would hold and responsibilities befalling All Ranks. affiliate link trace | Men's Footwear
