MULLAITTIVU: PRABHAKARAN’S SON CHARLES ANTHONY, Head of LTTE Peace Secretariat S. PULIDEVAN, Head of LTTE Political Wing and former LTTE Police Chief P. NADESAN and Head of LTTE Special Military Wing RAMESH have been killed during Sunday’s clashes in the final battle for liberation of the Tamil people, military intelligence confirmed a few minutes ago.
CHARLES ANTHONY, the elder son of the terrorist leader V. PRABHAKARAN, was in charge of the Information Technology Division and the Air Wing of the LTTE. Twenty four year old this terrorist was involved in a number of LTTE operations against the Security Forces including the aerial attack on the KATUNAYAKE Air Base on 26 March.
CHARLES ANTHONY was educated in ENGLAND on Aeronautics Engineering and Information Technology and was ranked on par with the deputy leader.
P. NADESHAN was the former LTTE Police Chief and took over as the Head of LTTE's Political Wing after THAMIL SELVAM was killed in an air strike of the Sri Lanka Air Force. He added new wings to the LTTE police during his tenure as Tamil Eelam Police Chief.
Earlier, he was a Police Constable of the Sri Lanka Police Department. He represented the LTTE in the Geneva talks with the Sri Lankan Government.
RAMESH was the LTTE's Special Commander for BATTICALOA and AMPARA Districts. He was an LTTE “Colonel” and replaced KARUNA AMMAN as the latter left the LTTE. RAMESH was later removed from the post and replaced by BHANU by the LTTE leader.
