2 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) troops serving Kandy area in the 111 Brigade headquarters of the 11 Division under the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-Cen) were busy fighting a bushfire that spread in the Hanthana hill areas in Kandy on Tuesday (27).
A total of 21 Army personnel including 1 Officer and 20 Other Ranks were engaged in this attempt of dousing the fire.
